It's really fun I go to that school
I love it and the people who work here I go to school here love it :)
I remember vividly in Year 2 I preformed consistently excellently in my spellings and was moved all the way from group 3 to group 5; if I do say so myself, it was quite the achievement for a 7-year-old me. Alas, group 5 proved too much for me, as it consisted entirely of words most wouldn't have a firm grasp of the spelling of until about Year 10. So, I was unceremoniously shifted back down to Group 3, where once again, there was no challenge, merely linguistic patronisation. It occurred to no-one to move me into Group 4, which anyone in their right mind would realise was the logical thing to do. Even more vividly I recall Year 5... or possibly 6... Anyway, I recall that year, when every member of my reading group received stickers for their efforts. However, my efforts, which in every way equalled those of my peers, received naught by thin air. Every time I glare upon my now comically undersized blue jumper (which I for some reason still own), I see that sticker so vividly, yet when I blink it vanishes from my mind's eye, and into a world which nearly was, but will never be. Were my chest a cannon, I'd have shot my heart upon the person who denied me my sticker.Nine years later, I am at University, yet every time my heart beats it beats for that pound-shop sticker which I could never call my own. The point is I let petty, pointless grudges linger for years upon years, doubtlessly letting them erode my person into a spiral of curmudgeonly cynicism and an isolationistic, sociopathic sense of entitlement.Harlands? Uh, yeah, it's okay.
