Lovely lunch, good beer, pleasant rural atmosphete
Delicious food and lovely atmosphere. Dogs are very welcomed so 5 stars Plus!
Having eaten in countless pubs around the country, The Hurstwood is one of my firm go-to favourites and has consistently good food. Lovely surroundings and decor inside too. The artwork is all for sale which tempts me every time. Definitely more of a dining pub, but done to a high standard. Keep up the good work.
Well kept Harvey's on tap. Smart gastropub feel. Food was great, I had excellent pigeon and then really good, if slightly small, fish and chips; but took ages to come out - our table was 13.15, mains came out 14.50. Around 30/head for two courses and a drink.
Good menu, very quiet today at lunchtime. Food good quality as was the service. Small car park...Good setting down country lane
