A really nice place to go walking with my dog. But visitors be aware. There are certain locals, that think they DON'T have to pick up after their dogs. I even had to ask the man in charge of 2 vislers, to pick up after one of his dogs had had a large poo, in the middle if the meadow. Only to be told he didn't have to, as his dig had gone in the middle! I was shocked at his reply. Because yes. You DO need to pick up after your dgs. Even though it is a nice area, it would certainly put me off taking young children there for fun & picnics. But walk right through to the other end, and there a nice area for picnics & a children's play area.
