Loved Sheffield park. Stunning and great walks. Shame the woodland walk was closed but had a reasonable walk looking at some fabulous trees and scenery. Worth the visit. Anytime of year.

We had a great time here. This was our first-time visit. There is a large car park and good coffee shop which is expensive but that's the national trust for you. Sheffield park itself has loads of lovely land and good paths to walk on which are suitable for wheelchair users. There are some parts that are quite steep so you need to be aware of that. There are a number of lakes to see and plenty of ducks to feed.

Beautiful gardens and friendly staff in the shop. Such a shame they don't offer reduced rates out of season or for NHS staff. I'd recommend going in the summer months when you'd probably get a better experience of the nature and wildlife.

Lovely gardens with plenty of walks between stunning trees and plants. Plenty of parking close to the entrance. Friendly staff to greet you in reception. A gift shop at the entrance. The Coffee shop / restaurant has plenty of seating but we did have to wait quite a while in a queue for drinks. Not sure why but possibly the wait was for coffees. Would be useful to see three menu board before you start queuing round the corner. Nice selection of cakes and scones though. Nice to have to jugs of tap water out. There's also a small garden plants section. A nice National Trust property.

Arriving to such a large car park immediately tells you this place is popular. Soon you find it is with very good reason. Although the house is private the gardens and woods are outstanding and still pay tribute to the heritage of Capability Brown along with all subsequent head gardeners. Many water elements with fantastic established trees shrubs beds and clever paths. Leaf colour this autumn astounding though now almost blown away the leaf forms on the ground show what was here. The woods walk adds a fun element to discover the natural formed sculptures an artist has blended to add geometric shape. Thanks good effort and want to go again to take another 300pictures
